I'll make this snappy because I've got a sink full of dishes with my name on them. I was thinking about work a lot today and it was making me a little irritable. I made cookies with Antonio this morning. He came up with the idea on his own to make peanut butter and jelly cookies, so we made peanut butter cookies, and put jelly on them. I tried to make like a thumbprint cookie but the flattened out too much so we just spread it on. Then I made some gingersnaps because I was craving them. I don't like store version gingersnaps, but I like the recipe I have with molasses, and lots of ginger. I had some real ginger I should have grated some on top with sugar...next time. Maybe a piece of candied ginger on top.
I need to get back to doing "preschool time" with Andrew. Maybe just reading books with him, I think he is interested in learning to read, especially since his brother is starting to. Antonio is so cute when he tries to read things. He always gets it wrong. I wish I only had to teach him Spanish. Trying to explain why knife, and knee don't start with an N is just the beginning I'm sure. I still can't spell.
Usually I go grocery shopping on Thursday or Friday. But I'm going to see how long I can last, and really try to use up a lot of the things I've had in the cupboard, and freezer for way too long. I think there are a few boxes of pasta we moved into the house with.
I had better get to those dishes.
